President Trump is leading an imperialist assault on sovereign nations across the Western hemisphere. In January 2026 the US bombed Venezuela and kidnapped President Maduro. A wave of sanctions followed against further countries including the cruel and dangerous siege on Cuba. Yet the people of Latin America continue to battle to break free from the chains of US dominance. The prize is control over their own future, free from external interference. Together we must build solidarity with people across the region and support their resistance to US hegemony. In the UK the annual Latin America Conference is central to this process, and we hope you will attend to share your understanding and experience.
